About me
Nicole Murray serves as the Director of Development for the Pediatric Epilepsy Surgery Alliance (formerly The Brain Recovery Project), returning to the organization where she previously served as Development Director. In her current role, she leads strategic fundraising initiatives to improve the lives of children requiring pediatric epilepsy surgery through critical research, education, and programs. Deeply committed to the epilepsy community, Nicole also serves as the Vice Chair of the Epilepsy Leadership Council.
Prior to her current position, Nicole was the Vice President of Development at the Epilepsy Foundation of America, where she also held the role of Corporate Philanthropy Officer, managing high-impact partnerships with corporate and foundation donors. Over a 20-year career dedicated to finding creative solutions for vulnerable communities, Nicole has held diverse leadership roles spanning operations, sales, management, and fundraising. Her extensive non-profit background includes seven years at Citizen Schools, as well as impactful roles at United Way Worldwide and Ashoka.
Nicole and her husband, Jonathan, live with their two sons, Declan and Ronan. Her professional dedication is deeply rooted in her personal journey: her son Ronan underwent successful epilepsy surgery for medication-resistant seizures at 10 months old at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia.
