About me
Dr. Berl is a licensed and board-certified pediatric neuropsychologist and associate chief of the Division of Pediatric Neuropsychology at Children’s National Hospital and tenured professor of psychiatry and behavioral sciences at The George Washington University School of Medicine. She is the director of research for the Division of Pediatric Neuropsychology, neuropsychologist for the Comprehensive Pediatric Epilepsy Program (CPEP), and director of a T32 Program in Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities. She is a Fellow of the American Epilepsy Society and has served on several scientific and organizing committees including Pediatric Content, Epilepsy Benchmarks, Investigator’s Workshop, Scientific Content, Finance, and Chair of the Psychosocial Comorbidities Committee. She also has served on committees withing the International League Against Epilepsy, Pediatric Epilepsy Research Consortium, and is an associate editor of Neuropsychology Reviews.
